**Peace Corps Zambia is one of the most rural sites that Peace Corps currently offers — many other Peace Corps posts work in tangent with NGOs or are placed in towns or cities depending on the program/area of service. This is why we have provincial houses — our sites are too rural to allow easy travel to Lusaka, so our provincial houses act as hostels where we can stay for 4 days out of the month to do work in town, etc. For some volunteers, it may take up to 2 days to get to their site from Lusaka.**
